I have to tell you that I wrote the majority of this book during the month of April 2020. It all came together so well and just flowed, which at the time was so refreshing. I was coming off of a stressful time at work in the early part of quarantine, and writing this book was a welcome change. I also fell in love with the characters and really wanted to honor and explore the theme, which is parenthood. Don’t get me wrong, I love all of the traditional romances with beautiful people in their early twenties, but I also wanted something for us thirty-something moms who are just as, if not more, lovable. After all, who doesn’t want a little romance even if it looks a little different, it sometimes means even more. Also, how can anyone not love a rambunctious little boy?
